Cheryl Engle.
Cheryl sang the gospel throughout her life. She was Kevin’s wife for nearly forty years, a friend to many, and a beloved voice at concerts, memorials, and church gatherings.
A life of song and faith
She sang the gospel.
Cheryl and her friend Kathy Abrahamson gave concerts in churches, including Little Rock Bible Church in 1988, Park Springs Bible Church in July 2004, and Wycliffe in November 2005. Her father, John Ferris, introduced them at Wycliffe. She also sang at many memorials and funerals.
Cheryl went to be with the Lord on 8 January 2026. At her memorial service in Kansas on 2 February, family and friends heard two of her most requested songs. The service recording includes five additional songs.
