Meet the founder
A return to the place
where it began.
Kevin Engle was born in the Philippines. After more than three decades away, he is returning with a renewed desire to serve and share the hope of Scripture.

Kevin’s story
From a career in lending
to a new chapter in missions.
Kevin spent his career as a mortgage loan officer and has now retired. He is beginning a new season of ministry focused on the Philippines, the country of his birth and the home of many people he hopes to serve.
His plan is to make regular trips to the Philippines and develop the ministry over many years, working primarily from the United States between visits. The Digital Messengers program is the first major initiative.
Kevin’s parents, Ken and Mary Lou Engle, served in the Philippines from 1951 to 1975. Their story is part of the family’s connection to the country and its Christian ministry.
Kevin’s wife, Cheryl, sang the gospel throughout her life. She went to be with the Lord in January 2026. KEEPM honors her life and music on this site. Remember Cheryl and hear her music →

A childhood around radio
The microphone was familiar early.
Kevin grew up in the Philippines, where his father, Ken, shared Bible messages over the radio. As a boy, Kevin also found himself at a microphone in a Baguio radio station. That family history now connects with KEEPM’s digital audio Bible work.
A long view
Build patiently. Keep going.
Kevin sees KEEPM as a ministry to grow over the next 10 to 15 years: establishing trusted local relationships, placing digital audio devices, and helping people continue learning and sharing Scripture.
The first goal is 1,000 messengers. The long-range vision is one million. The work will advance at a pace that available funds and local partnerships allow.
